1 February 1943 – Pembroke Dock.

5 Ford 3 ton GS 4X4 received from 29 Vehicle Replacement Depot BREEDON.

7 February 1943

09:00 hours. Col. BRIDGER, CREME 49 Division, visited Unit. Exercise on Road Movement held, embracing road convoy practice, dispersal, camouflage and concealment, and area defence practice.

10 February 1943

15:00 hours. Exercise, based on new deployment of sections scheme practice in Harbouring for Officer i/c Harbouring Group, and Senior NCO representatives from each of the Stores Group, Workshop Group, Machinery Group, Recovery Group.

11 February 1943

3 Norton motorcycles received from No. 39 Vehicle Replacement Depot BUTTINGTON.

21:00 hours. Practice road convoy move by night. Completed by 00:20 hours 12 February.

13 February 1943

3 Ariel motorcycles returned to 39 Vehicle Replacement Depot BUTTINGTON. Purpose of exchange (made on instruction of ADOS 49 Division) – to ensure uniformity in type in 70 Infantry Brigade Group.

19 February 1943

09:00 hours. Convoy exercise held to practice Unit move in blocks.

21 February 1943

01:15 hours. Air raid warning.

01:30 hours. All clear.

25 February 1943 16:00 hours. Advance Party (1 Officer, 6 Other Ranks) proceeded to BERKHAMSTED on Exercise SPARTAN.

27 February 1943

05:30 hours. Main Party moved off – consisting of 1 Officer and 108 Other Ranks.

18:30 hours. Main Party bivouacked at LEDBURY.

28 February 1943

09:00 hours. Main Party moved off to BERKHAMSTED.

19:30 hours. Main Party located in concentration area.
