9 August 1943 STEWARTON.

Advance Parties from the Regiment leave Stewarton for new locations for Exercise “HARLEQUIN”.

11 August 1943

Regiment leaves Scotland for new locations in South of England.

15 August 1943 HOVE.

Regiment takes up positions on South Coast for Exercise “HARLEQUIN”. 308 Battery Shoreham, 309 Battery Newhaven, 310 Battery Lewes.

16 August 1943 SHOREHAM.

04:00 hours. 308 Battery engages enemy aircraft flying over harbour. 17 rounds fired at plane but no hits claimed.

26 August 1943 HOVE.

14:00 hours. Command of the Regiment devolves on Major D S HUNTER RA during the absence on duty of Lt Col H C CORY MC RA.
