Died/Killed in action KILLED in an Allied Air Raid 8/12/1944, 190 Kilometres along the Siam/Burma railway. Buried initially in Common Grave 190 Keedjie, by Captain R Robertson of the Federation of Malay States Volunteer Force. Re-interred in Collective Grave 5. A. 1-47 in Kanchanaburi War Cemetery - probably in March 1946. Headstone inscription reads:- "ETERNAL REST GIVE UNTO HIM, O LORD; AND LET PERPETUAL LIGHT SHINE UPON HIM. AMEN".
