Documents to Bournemouth 15/5/44. Posted to No 223 Company April 1944 to November 1945. Posted to No. 81 Company November 1945 to early January 1946. Posted to 324 Company from early January 1946 until discharge later in the month. Class A Release 17/1/1946.

Royal Pioneer Corps records show his forenames as Alec Charles.

During his service he was awarded two periods of being confined to Barracks - one for being absent from a parade and second for being absent without leave for a period of ten hours. At the end of his service he was awarded; the Defence Medal, the War Medal, the 1939-1945 Star and the France and Germany Star.
