Transferred to the Black Watch 1/2/40, and posted to 1st Battalion Tyneside Scottish. Served with the B.E.F. in Northern France. Captured as a Prisoner of War at FICHEUX on 20/5/1940. Repatriated to the UK - date not yet known. Posted ? Battalion of the Black Watch on repatriation. Relegated to the Class Z Army Reserve 8/1/46.
