British Section, Yokohama War Cemetery 13/9/1946. Inscription on headstone reads - "AT THE GOING DOWN OF THE SUN AND IN THE MORNING WE WILL REMEMBER THEM". Probate granted 23/8/1946 at Newcastle upon Tyne to Lilian Scott, James' widow.
Home address Son of John and Elizabeth Jane Scott, husband of Lilian Scott of Glanton, Northumberland. Married Lilian Bulman Q4, 1941, in Cleveland District. James had lived at Chester Road, Holmes Chapel. Wife subsequently lived at Cliffrigg Cottage, Great Ayton, Middlesbrough.
