Captain Lucas met Lieutenant Colonel Foster MBE RE Commandant Royal Engineers 49 Division with Deputy Chief Engineer, Western Command and other Officers at KINGTON Station at 11:00 hours and made recce of proposed Camp Sites.

Lieutenant Wakefield and Advance Party arrived at KINGTON and were taken by Captain Lucas to Company billet at STAUNTON-ON-WYE.
