Home address At the 1901 Census he was living with his parents William and Jane Hannah Wearmouth at Coundon Grange. By the time of the 1911 Census his mother had died and he was living, aged 17, with his widowed father and family at 81, Gurney Valley, Coundon Grange and working as an Engineman's Assistant in the Coal Industry. That may have prevented his conscription in 1916. Married Laura Gray at South Church 16/12/1916. Lived at 5, Douglas Crescent, Bishop Auckland. Worked as an Engineman.
