Died/Killed in action DIED 29/9/1945 - cause of death Beri Beri and Diarrhoea. Initially interred in Tambaya Cemetery 9. Re-interred January 1946 in Grave B1.L.10. Thanbyuzayat War Cemetery. Headstone inscription reads:- "PEACEFULLY SLEEPING, FAR FROM HOME. IN GOD'S KEEPING. TILL WE MEET AGAIN".
