INTRODUCTION

The locations mentioned range from the Brigade's initial raising in 1939, and incorporate summer and winter quarters and exercise locations in Wales, Scotland and East Anglia in particular.

It will take some time to process and upload the information but this will be done as soon as possible.

The locations listed are only those where it has been possible to take photographs. Where places are mentioned within War Diaries, but have not yet been visited, an attempt has been made to include hyperlinks to the relevant Wikipedia pages - this encompasses most of the places mentioned throughout the War Diaries. As more places are visited and photographed, new pages will be added below.

The Wikipedia references are included within the new pages below, for completeness.

If readers have information, or, especially, wartime images available that they would be willing to share, please get in touch with Lead Researcher John L Dixon at 70brigade@newmp.org.uk and arrangements will be made to upload them to the Website.
