Checking of equipment for new Establishment.

2 February 1943 – Pembrey.

Routine training.

Base Camp at Llandovery struck.

Volunteers submitted for Parachutist Field Ambulance.

5 February 1943 – Pembrey.

C.O. inspects billets of 482 Company R.A.S.C.

6 February 1943 – Pembrey.

C.O.’s inspection of Unit.

8 February 1943 – Pembrey.

Transport exercise to afford practice in M.T. movement.

9 February 1943 – Pembrey.

Exercise FANTOME. 49th Division Signals Exercise. Field Ambulances were kept in the Divisional Admin. Area and did not move with their Brigades. Contact with Brigade therefore very slight. This practice is unsatisfactory. ADMS requested to arrange for Field Ambulance to be ? included.

12 February 1943 – Pembrey.

Conference Whitney.

13 February 1943 – Pembrey.

New R.A.S.C. arrive to make up deficiencies in new Establishment.

16 February 1943 – Pembrey.

Reorganisation proceeds.

17 February 1943 – Pembrey.

Receipt of General Instructions for Exercise Spartan.

19 February 1943 – Pembrey.

Unit Transport Exercise.

23 February 1943 – Pembrey.

Conference with ADMS 49th Division at Foxley.

24 February 1943 – Pembrey.

Unit Transport Exercise.

26 February 1943 – Pembrey.

Final orders Exercise Spartan received.

27 February 1943 – Pembrey.

07:00 hours. Unit leaves Camp.

18:00 hours. Arrives concentration area Ledbury.

28 February 1943 – Pembrey.

07:00 hours. Move on 2nd Stage.

18:30 hours. Arrive High Wycombe. Occupy hutted camp St John’s Wood.
