Source table
RSM Wilson was finally traced using the "missing men" exercise conducted by the War Office in 1942. This identified his Regimental Number and allowed his Enlistment Book entry to be followed up. However, the common nature of the name in his native Gateshead made it difficult to pick out his particular items of family information.
