13 March 1941 Iceland, Reykjavik.

Company Part I Orders Nos. 29 to 41 issued and included with War Diary as Appendix A (which does not seem to have survived in the original file).

Order of the Day issued by G.o.C. Iceland Force concerning the commencement of privilege leave to troops in Iceland. Read out to Company on parade by Catain Mark C Topham.

27 March 1941

Company Part I Orders Nos. 42 to 49 issued and included within Appendix A.

28 March 1941

Order of the Day issued by G.o.C. Iceland Force giving further information concerning privilege leave. Copy posted on Company notice board.

Normal duties carried out throughout the month. Supervision of loading and unloading supply ships at Reykjavik and Hafnafjordur Docks. Increased day and night town patrols during shore leave of Naval personnel. Road patrol in Reykjavik and district area. Special duties with regard to Force Exercises and M.T. Demonstrations for Force Tactical School. Special duties with regard to accidents, claims and investigation of complaints against troops.

Apprehension of absentees and deserters, all services. Searching of outgoing and incoming ships and private houses for W.D. property in connection with Field Security Police.

AKUREYRI, SEYDISFJORDUR and SIGLUFJORDUR detachments carrying out similar duties in their areas.

ARTUN detachment carrying out traffic control, enforcement of discipline and general security at Iceland Force Headquarters.
