24 March 1941

52 Light Anti-aircraft Battery Royal Artillery arrived in Iceland. Temporarily accommodated at HOSPITAL CAMP, Helgafell. 249 Heavy Anti-aircraft Battery Royal Artillery Advance Party arrived in Iceland. Accommodated at SKELETON HILL CAMP.

26 March 1941

Artillery demonstration, SANDSKEID Area. 200 spectators from all arms. This demonstration was to show various types of Artillery covering fire, smoke screens etc, primarily for the benefit of Students at the Force Tactical School.

29 March 1941

52 Light Anti-aircraft Battery Royal Artillery occupied gun sites as follows:

2 detachments HVITANES;

Troop less two detachments HVAMMSIK.

Troop less two detachments Kaldadarnes

2 detachments FOSSVOGUR

Troop remained HOSPITAL CAMP, Helgafell.

30 March 1941

Enemy plane (Focke Wolff Condor) over Reykjavik at height 10,400 to 11,500 feet.

No. 4 Heavy Anti-aircraft Battery Royal Artillery in action 10:04 hours to 10:19 hours. 45 rounds fired. Detachment 52 Light Anti-aircraft Battery Royal Artillery (FOSSVOGUR) fired 15 rounds. No visible effects.
